[78-L] Victor 24156 = HMV/Victor 24142 in Canada

I have a Canadian HMV/Victor record of the Leo Reisman Orchestra?performing 'Brother, Can You Spare A Dime'.? The label says it is 24142-B, the dead wax says 24156-B, the 78discography confirms the 24156-B number.? A printing error, or are Canadian records numbered differently?
