Don’t know how much of a “hit” this was, but according to Rust Compleate Entertainment 1976 ed. Baker recorded it for Edison in October, Perfect in November.

I'm working on an essay about popular culture in the 1920s and 1930s,
and I needed to quote a hit song that was about women drivers-- any good
suggestions? I can think of lots of songs about a guy taking his
girlfriend out for a romantic drive, but I am totally drawing a blank on
songs about how women drive... surely there must have been some, since
the 1920s were an era when a lot of women were driving.
