HI All.
These records To be an unpublished take should be missed the catalogue number on schellack ( 39000. 62000, 69000, 74000 series)

Even if I have some sample recording without the Cat.N. but with pubblished matrix.

Another things thah can help to recognize if it's unpubblished recording is that most of them are single side and with some cutting defects of the edge

Hi All
My understanding is that many of these pink label Fonotipia Sample records are demonstration discs for use in the record store. The normally labelled Fonotipias of the same period intended for commercial sale had a small circular sticker over the label hole to prove that it had not been previously played.
The few early Fonotipia and Odeon tests that I have seen had blank labels with minimal or no title information written on them.
