As a student historian, I find it sometimes hard to make honest comments 
on my tastes.

Having just looked over the selection at the IAJRC site, it might be 
fairer to say that what you will find there is pointed more to the 
obscure, historical and/or completist ear than to one that seeks the 
highlights and the popular.

It is a delight to discover the gem, one of the reasons I love this 
hobby. As we know, once a record (good or bad) has been transfered to 
digital, it ceases to be rare, whether it was because it was so well 
liked that every copy was played to destruction or that it was not 
prolifically reproduced for one reason or another.
