[78-L] Help please from UK members

Well, I've been publicly called on the carpet. So first off, my apologies.
I don't think any of my comments were very in-depth and was waiting until a)
I had time to read the posts thoroughly (sometimes I just scan when at work)
and also to see what else develops.
It looks like all posts are in and from the material I've read from our kind
list mates I know that Southwood passed away in 2010. He seemed to be a
very well respected broadcaster who moved away from the BBC in the mid 1950s
and concentrated on producing. From the one picture I was able to see, he
was a good looking fellow with a pleasant smile (of course he was surrounded
by pretty young girls at the time so who wouldn't be smiling). I have
delivered the digitized material to my friend who will get it to the
daughter of Lieut. Hayes. I'm sure they would agree that Mr. Southwood was
responsible for them to have a treasured memory in sound.
I did e-mail one of the names you mentioned, Kristjan but I have not heard
anything back yet. I may try some of the others if the first does not pan
out and as time allows.
Thanks to all for your invaluable help.
Ron L

Hi, Ron,
It's now a few days since you asked for help about David Southwood. I tried
to assist you, forwarding links to dozens of magazine articles and websites
where his name and work is mentioned: I also mentioned a few names at the
BBC who might have worked with him and are still active.
You've commented a few other mails, dead ends as it seems. Usually, when I
get help from the list, I try to credit all contributors, especially those
who've used a bit more of their time and search skills to help you.
Kind regards,
Kristjan
