Love those Pearl Music from the New York Stage sets! They introduced me to
a lot of 78-era music, including Al Jolson, Bert Williams, Jack Norworth,
and Nora Bayes. And thanks again to David Lennick for providing me with a
replacement copy of volume 4 after it developed disc rot. Those CD sets
were expensive when new, and hard to replace...
I'm listening to Lillian Russell's "Come Down, Ma Evenin' Star" right now.
Doesn't sound like a dub to me. What's the backstory on this unissued disc?
