Was Cam Smith the TV host? He's credited on the famous Canadian recording by
Stu Phillips. Or is this a different song? (Late 50s in Canada. Ooga ooga
mushka.).

(Texas) JIm Lewis told me Cam Smith was a pseudonym used because the song
was co-written with a G.I. stationed with Jim at Ft. Lewis Army Base, and
because of the musicians strike at the time.
