Thanks to those who helped narrow this one down for me. RayK had a great copy.
I just knew there'd be a youtube of some gramophone plowing up a copy of this thing so we could watch the soundbox sway up and down and back and forth, and hear all the needle scratch and the echo of the room - with pictures of hillbillies - but we are safe, at least for the moment.
This website that Ryan found, however, is a most interesting website:
http://dentonwebservice.com/Whitburn/1938_168%20-%20Ted%20Weems%20&%20His%20Orchestra%20-%20Three%20Shif'less%20Skonks%20128%20M%20(3.10).mp3
It appears to me to be a web contractor's holding tank for stuff placed on clients' websites. In this case, it looks to be mp3 files of everything that Joel Whitburn identified as being on *his* "chart" list for all 1938. Great list of stuff, though. Anybody know for sure what this is?

If you haven't already gotten your request filled...I can transfer my
copy this weekend and send it to you Monday.
Take care,
Joe
