[78-L] magix software..

I can't tell you off the top of my head at the moment as Nero is not on my laptop.

All I can remember is it is fairly self explanatory and you can burn them as data discs or music discs dependant on what you want, CD or MP3 files.

I did it by trial and error and it is fairly easy once you get familiar with the programme- and that didn't take me too long.

I find it best to find something you like, can use, and stick to it.

I record with Audacity, fade in and out and de click. Save, and then alter and clean up with Magix 17. Burning with Nero.

Just what I am used to, maybe not the best, but it gets very good results without the absurd costs of software like Cedar, and the best condition 78s can be cleaned up to almost Vocalion standards (and they use Cedar!)

I save my files in a seperate folder and burn to a CD using Nero - I haven't burned using magix.

I am not sure if you can burn an "open" session or if you have to finishe the seesion (which means that you cannot burn any more tracks on to that CD)

Sorry that I cannot be more help on this.

Not been on any of the forums. It is fairly easy to use and I get some very good results off my Harry Roy 78s

Could anyone inform me where I might find the most modern detailed engineering plans for the acoustic line of a re-entrant horn gramophone?
