The article also said that she was driving a 2000 GMC. I think it was
not a car, rather this was the U-Haul truck bringing half her stuff to
her new home. It might have included her record collection. She had
complained that her ex had rented her a too small truck and that she had
to leave half her stuff behind for a second trip. I think she would
have been scared to leave her records for him to steal or destroy or
something. Her old car had broken down a month ago and she bought a
2005 P.T. Cruiser (like mine, only hers was silver) but she totaled the
Cruiser on May 28 and was posting about how she would not have any
wheels when she got to her new home.
It does seem that Mike Harkin might be losing his rent money, but it
would be interesting to find out how they guy rear-ended the truck on an
interstate. The article said that the GMC then lost traction and went
into the medium. Were they wearing seatbelts??? The truck probably
didn't have air bags.
