[78-L] Started buying 78s

My first purchase of a 78 in a record store was Hotcha Cornia by Spike Jones,  Then I began buying every Spike Jones record as they came out.  Also bought Glenn Miller 78s (post war reissues).  One could listen to 78s in a booth in those days, I started buying used records when I discovered that the Salvation Army wasn't a military organization.  It was at the Hempstead NY SA that I met Bob Colton (sp?) who introduced me to Record Research, hence my complete run of the mag.  Have never stopped buying 78s...... Don Chichester
