And not from being housed in a sleeve repaired with scottish tape. I have a 
Cook lp that had probably never been played, and when I removed it from its 
plastic inner sleeve, some stickum remained..the sleeve and the vinyl had begun 
to merge. Before I try cleaning this with my usual method (photoflow/water on 
the Monks), is there anything that would be better for removing the sticky 
parts, like GooGone or lighter fluid?
