[78-L] Coral children's set "A Trip To New York"

"A Trip to New York" is indeed the title of the set you're remembering. It was by Kenny Roberts. Coral children's album 2305, record numbers 69015 and 69016. No date in the Decca books, though sessions preceding and following this one would place it as having been recorded circa 1947-48.
