.
The makers of Chloe fashion/perfume must be members of eBay's a so-called
VERO Program (Verified Intellectual Rights Program).

Chloe as a member has the right to stop any and all Chloe items that are up
for auction or Buy-It-Now on eBay. This is supposedly to prevent counterfeit
products being sold on the internet. However, it is a well known fact that the
VERO members also cancel auctions of authentic used items, probably because
they do not want them to interfere with their pricing strategy.

The procedure to have a genuine product reinstated as an auction on eBay is
at the sole descretion of these VERO members, and mostly the VERO members
do not even reply when sellers send them their receipts from their official outlet
and serial numbers from the item itself!

When you list items on eBay and use words in the title that may be taken for
restricted or prohibited goods, then your item will not be listed immediately,
but undergoes a screening procedure by a physical person. I had this a while
ago when I listed African 78s. All were listed and searchable immediately,
except the one with music from the Ivory Coast. The word "Ivory" triggered
the three hours lapse.

By the way, the U.S. Army is also a VERO member and they monitor the
militaria category for V-Discs and AFRTS transcriptions. Most such records
listed in "Militaria" will be taken down, supposedly because the Army is still the
rightful owner of these "weapons". However, they obviously do not monitor
the music category!
