My first guess would, of course, be Toscanintly, as I've never heard of anybody else
conducting 'his' NBCSO -- at least not on records.  It so dounds like th meshugene thing
he'd

And why would anybody want to orchestrate the Debussy.  It's not something that 'bursts
the bonds' of the medium, after all, like th Grosse Fuge.Nor it's not like he didn't compose
any real orchestral music....

This is something I've never heard before! Filler on an AFRS NBC Symphony
Concert, and it's the slow movement from the Debussy String Quartet, played by
a full string section. Very nice! Does anyone know who orchestrated it and who
might have recorded it?
