Mike Harkin listed the original M- numbers to a couple of G sets. Coppola's
IBERIA (G10) was a reissue from M77 (which is nice and confusing in itself
because there were two versions, both issued as M77, although WERM doesn't
mention this). G2 is from M-6, Coates conducting Beethoven's 3rd.

They did the same with La Mer M89 and the Schumann PC by Cortot M39.  The records have different nos. but set no. is same.

There are a couple/a few red seals which you'd expect to have M set nos. which
DON'T.  Three  records but no. set no.--  reissued as G sets.  Brahms Haydn
Variations springs to mind. Set G16.

Keeps us on our toes, dunnit?
