Might not be a bad lot to pickup local, can you imagine what price how many would survive their shipping effort if you went for that helpful option.

Well as I've already said I don't need those discs for any reason. I do sometimes buy classical 78 rpm album sets but not of something I've already got.

What did I get from Kurt's shop all those years ago? Trying to remember now. Maybe 2000 classical sets plus I don't remember how many single records all in 78 rpm of course. All for $200 & took me 2 or 3 trips with my pickup to get them all. I think Kurt did a deal like that (not classical though) for a few local collectors besides myself before he closed down his shop. Several months later Kurt called me & I met him at his house in Spring. Another sale of classical from his van (or somebody's van) for an amount I don't remember & they filled up the bed of my truck plus some of the cab area. I haven't done that with Kurt since.

I got a great haul of 5 boxes of stereo & mono classical LP's from Kathy Botto (another Houston area record dealer I know) about 15 years ago & it was all free. Around 500 classical LP's in VG to M- condition including quite a few RCA stereo shaded dogs & Mercury stereo Living Presence discs. I called her up & told her about them and she said that the knew those are worth money but since she doesn't deal in classical (at least not at that time) those money value records were a gift to me. Boy was I glad to get them & yes I still have all of those stereo RCA's & stereo Mercury's to this day. LSC-1817 (a shaded dog I was looking for on the collectors market) wasn't in that haul but I found a NM copy (with it's original inner sleeve) at a local Houston record collectors show a few years later for $6 & I was thrilled to get it for that price when the Canfield guide listed it at $300 at that time. Is it worth that much or even more now? I don't know & I
don't care however if somebody wants that LP they'll have to pry it out of my cold dead fingers after I pass away one day in the future. Not that a copy doesn't show up on Ebay from time to time but I really don't need to upgrade my copy & yes I have played it several times over the years.

Might be tons of dupes of what I've already got from Kurt Nauk about 16 to 20 years ago when I bought his whole wall of classical 78's for $200 when he was closing down his Houston shop before he moved to Spring. Then add the other classsical 78 rpm sets I've picked up since then&  you'll see why I don't want to buy this lot. Now if he had a Make Offer button I might offer perhaps $75 for what this seller has but thats about it. Not a penny more. And even then it would just fill up space in my home that I could use for other records. So like I said, I'm not bidding on this at all.
