You're thinking of 'Magnolia Simms' from THE BIRDS, THE BEES AND THE
MONKEES which has dubbed-in record noise in the background to simulate a
78.  And the stereo mix (if you want to call it that) has the recording all
in one channel--mono on one side of your stereo....
