Wasn't there a Victor recording of Sammy Kaye's orchestra playing a tune called "the Turntable Song?". I seem to remember it being sung by Don Cornell.

I think it was released first on a 78 but no matter what format it's on, it shows its connection to the 78 format by imitating a stuck record at the 78 rate of rotation. It starts with the sound of a coin going into a juke box then runs through a bit of the Fest March from Tannhauser as I recall, (I haven't heard it in many years), before bringing in the theme of "Music, Music, Music", at one point marrying it with a theme from the Ballet Music from "Faust" by Gounod.
