I haven't checked it on the Blue Pages, but isn't this "High In-Fidelity" label a Joe Davis production (like "Music For Half Assed Friends")? Whether it is or not, it reminds me to mention that a full biography of Davis is due for publication in August. Written by Kip Lornell, a thorough and reliable researcher, and Bruce Bastin, whose Interstate Music reissued quite a few things from the Davis holdings in the 80's and 90's. It'll probably be as much of a definitive Joe Davis resource as we'll ever get.

Subject: Re: [78-L] Victory at Sea?!
From what I've learned from this list THE GOOD SHIP LOLLIPOP was an
airplane! And SPLISH SPLASH was about a bathtub! SHOWBOAT was a river boat
and besides is not a song anyway unless you count the overture! And how did
LUSH LIFE get in there? The producers should have consulted us for examples
of "sea" songs. We could have given them dozens of appropriate songs to
choose from, especially since they didn't worry about paying royalties at
all on a cardboard insert.
