[78-L] Don Redman or...?

Long ago I made the following note:
Allen (tp) not on the 14 Nov 1933 session (not listed by Evensmo).
He played at the time with Henderson, and Hendersonia does not mention a
temporary absence. But he may have been hired for recordings.

Is there an explanation for the gap in the ARC mx numbers (14300-314) ?
In ODP I see 15 Nov 33 as date for 14300-03 by Gene Kardos (Melotone).

>>> Lord 10.0 lists the following session under Redman's name,

Don Redman
[R1815-10]
Henry "Red" Allen (tp) replaces Langston Curl, Chick Bullock (vcl)
New York, November 14, 1933
14298-1 Our big love scene (cb vcl) Mel M12840, Jazz Arch JA-5
14299-1 After sundown (cb vcl) - -
14315-1 Puddin' Head Jones (cb vcl,*) M12848 -
14316-1 My old man (cb vcl) - -
14317-1 Tired of it all (cb vcl) M12867, -
14318-1 Keep on doin' what you're doin' (cb vcl) - -

ADBORAF lists the last four titles as an ARC/Brunswick band with the
usual suspects listed. However, Rust's JR3 lists all titles under
Redman. They all sound like Redman to me. Oddly enough Jazz Archives
JA-5 (under Redman's name) omits the personnel for this session.
