[78-L] Top ten instrumental?

The last one I remember playing on the air was about that time (mid-80s?)
Another measure of the loss of instrumental music would be to see what the last instrumental was to win a grammy - beyond the retro-inductions of "historical" items.
I can't remember one

Okay, Jan Hammer's THEME FROM MIAMI VICE has been pointed out as the last 
instrumental to reach #1 (I think that was what the sender meant).
