Mike: I thought I rtold you I got a BD player on Black Friday at Best Buy. Down to $49.00 so I've been watching special features on some.
 
As for new TV, my old one has same height on screen as a 52 inch flat and I watch mostly standard format stuff anyway. ;-) Amy old old TV weghs over 150 punds and is in basement. Not moving that ;-)
 
BTW, even Bluerays will go away. Based on Home Media mag the new thing is Ultraviolet:
