When it was suggested to me that I look up the #1 song for my birth-week, I
thought it would be a bit of harmless fun, and was immediately curious
about what I would find.

Pity me! It appears that for April 15th of 1953, the #1 song was one of the
worst "hits" ever:

"How Much Is That Doggy In The Window"

Oh, the shame of it!
