THE places to check for catalog supplements are Tim Brooks, Library of
Congress, and Rogers & Ham, in that order.

Bob's still over at Belfer, plugging along. (He got some nice notice of
his Edison "Nutcracker" cylinder transfers on the listserve last month.)
I don't remember seeing a Columbia educational catalogue at Belfer -
actually, their early Columbia disc documents are rather thin, as I
recall - but I'll check. A 1913 supplement would be more useful in terms
of its immediacy and novelty at the time of issue, I think. PC

That would be my guess. Any educational catalogs over at Belfer? (Is Bob
still
there, by the way?) dl

>> Hello - I'm trying to track down any 1913 Columbia supplement that might give some blurb on A5457, three mvts. from "A Vanishing Race" suite by Henry F. Gilbert, played by Prince's Orchestra, released May 1913 according to Graveley Arnold. Has anyone seen or know where the right supplement might be? The disc is curious, to say the least, and rather important - I'd like to read what Columbia has to say about it. Many thanks, Philip Carli
