No one asked what the word "wonderful" meant. As a we all know (well most of us), when we get a call that someone has a "wonderful" collection of records for sale that often times they are common records easily replaced for a quarter or 50 cents. And "rare" won't be much different a description.

We don't know if they were 78s or vinyl Lps. But it may not be worth effort to try to save them. I know very few collectors who save Lp records that no longer have jwckets. But sorry to hear about the loss. I had a water damage problem once but - luckily it was not my rare racords and I just threw them out.
