re: the cd -  you know you can usually find the LP and sometimes the CD for cheap in Jazz Recrd Mart and other record fairs where traditonal jazz people meet (like Bixfest). The sound is superb BTW - I have a related issue (the 1934 Bill Dodge transcriptions - and we all know whose band THAT is right?? - don't make me feel like I am on a facebook page lol) and it is suberb restoration - but I expect that much from jazzology - check them directly , they may have it still
