I came up with one of these -- also empty -- during the last year and
posted a question here about it -- unanswered, of course.  I think I
finally saw something about the series in the back of one of the
Columbia annual catalogs, but I also think that the albums contained
individual unrelated records and a continuity script for your local
station announcer.  This would be similar to the RCA Victor series Music
You Want, and I do have a loose leaf book of scripts for these along
with the theme song disc.

Jeff, since you have a bunch of them, it might be helpful to post the
full list of program numbers and dates.  

This cover format is one of the several Steinweiss era generic tombstone
covers replacing the plain gray covers and the original tombstone cover
-- the Royal Blue era cover with the arch-top gray stickers which REALLY
look like a tombstone.  The Lp cover that we have long called the
tombstone seems to be the first "public" use of that term which had been
used inside the company since the 30s.
