[78-L] Ballroom Disc

In the October 1, 1947 Disc catalog there are no 10,000 series records.  I do own 10441 and is the same orchestra, director so would presume it was a set.  I actually had two from the set but the other one was broken.  The one I have is cracked.  I kept it for the label, which has not made it up to my site yet.

For what it's worth there are 92 lines around the edge of the label.

An uncommon variant of Moses Asch's Disc label (Ballroom Disc) can still be seen at
ebay # 290620537098.

I already had a good image of Disc 10443-B (mx D483), by the same orchestra.
Does anyone have some info on this 10000 series? I do not think there were 443 issues in it.
Does it refer to 10" album 44 or something like that?

And are the rim lines a stroboscope (I didn't start counting)?
