[78-L] British Record Label of interest

Does anyone on our list have any information on the British "Film" label.
I've just heard "Life is Just A Bowl Of Cherries" on Rich Connaty's "Big 
Broadcast"  radio show. I looked it up and it was a 1932
recording on that label by Al Bowlly.. The name "Film" suggests some 
interesting possibilities about the recording process used by that record
company...or perhaps not.
