[78-L] Mutter's Kreutzer

I have just listened to A. S. Mutter's recording of Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata and the performance and sound just blew me away!  Granted this is an SACD, which is without question the Culmination of recording technology - it can't get any better - but unfortunately, this format was deep-sixed by Polygram and Sony and the music loving public is all the poorer because of that.  The format had a frequency response pretty well from DC to over 100 khz;  the dynamic range covered the sound of an empty recording studio to the volume of a jet plane, and it doesn't take educated ears to appreciate the magic.
