Cary, are you kidding Ryan? I can't believe you don't recognize the name of the late Jim Walsh, who is mentioned here regularly, for his long column in Hobbies magazine and his expertise on the pioneers of recording.

The name doesn't ring a bell but I'd have to go through my issues to see. What were his specialties? About when would he have done them? (RC was around from 1941 to 1957). I have a complete run except for a few issues in 1943.
