[78-L] Poor Butterfly in Dawn Patrol 1938

Thanks Mark, but yes the enquiry is aimed at folks who have seen the film
rather than those who can cut and paste discographical listings :o)))

Anyway the enquirer (who has seen the film) indicates Poor Butterfly
'record' is instrumental and he has ruled out Fritz Kreisler (1917), Victor
Marching Band (1916), Joseph C Smith Orch (1917) and Paul Whiteman (1920)
versions, he says the film track is a more orchestral and melodic foxtrot,
so it may not be a 'period' recording (the film is set in WWI).
