Apparently u-tube has been discussing it for years:

If you guys will hurry up and decide it really is Bix, the value of my copy will surely go up. I gave a buck for an E++ copy in an original sleeve at a tag sale and grumbled about the price because I'd never heard of this record before and it was a real "pig in a poke" as we say here in the South. I quit griping as soon as the boat whistle stopped and I knew I had a winner. It's a great record even if it's a bunch of Selvin boys imitating Whiteman boys. Anybody suggested that yet?

I understand that the latest issue of the IAJRC Journal has an article by
Han which makes the case that Bix is on the Mason-Dixon Orchestra Columbia.
I have not read the article but would be interested to hear the thoughts of
others about this.
Thanks from
Taylor
