It has been reported by Dick Spottswood and Mary Katherine Aldin that Wade Mainer, 104-year-old country music pioneer, has returned home after hospice care and is not expected to live more than a few days. 

There aren't many pre-war country musicians left. Wade's probably the last one who was still musically active recently. Play some Mainer's Mountaineers 78s in his honor.
