[78-L] Bing question

I've been watching DVD-Rs of vintage TV commercials from the company
tvdays.com, and a Bing Crosby industrial promo was included where the ol'
groaner talks about the upcoming Christmas ad campaign for the gas company
that he is part of. One part of the campaign was a 78 with Bing singing
special lyrics to "Swingin' on a Star."

What year would this have been? I'm guessing mid-50s.
