[78-L] Not a good night, Irene

I live in a ground-floor condo in Paterson, NJ. While some of the buildings
border the Passaic River, my building does not. My car is parked away from
any nearby trees.

The buildings are pretty solid, brick buildings built about 60 years ago. My
son and my ex-wife live one building over on the second floor.

Even though it looks like we may get hit, I'm hoping that the storm is not
as powerful by then as it is at this point. But who knows? We can only hope.
Nothing we can do except what we are doing. The big topic of discussion here
is flooding more than anything else, and that is a major concern because of
the river.
