One of the most incredible versions of a Leiber-Stoller song I've ever heard is 
Joan Morris and William Bolcom (and one of the few times her voice doesn't make 
me reach for a cyanide pill) doing "Black Denim Trousers and Motorcycle Boots" 
as if it were one of Schubert's most dramatic songs.
