[78-L] Dallas' legendary 508 Park Ave. building "saved"

How fitting that it was the First Presbyterian Church of Dallas that did the "saving," completing its purchase of the historic building at 508 Park Ave. that not only was the site of 13 Robert Johnson sides but other field recordings of hillbilly, blues, western swing, and Mexican performers during the 1930s.

Plans are for a recording studio to be constructed in the building, but we shall see. For now, it appears the wrecking ball has been put away for a while.
