The 1919 recording was for HMV: a song from "The Passing Show Of 1918": 
"On The Level You're A Little Devil" by Jean Schwartz & Joe Young, used 
in the 1919 London revue "Hullo America". Recorded in London March 21 
1919, and, according to Rust's "Entertainment Discography", released on 
HMV B-1024. Other sources say it was an unissued test.

Chevalier's first recordings for Pathé were made in 1920 and issued in 1921.
