1. 12" 78rpm original Melotone Recording Studio (NYC) disc featuring the=20
greatest bad singer of all time: Florence Foster Jenkins. One side features=

Adele=E2=80=99s Laughing Song from Die Fledermaus, and the other side featu=
res Biassy=20
with words by Pushkin, Melodie-Song: Count A. Pavlovich, Based on Prelude X=
VI =E2=80=93=20
Bach. Both labels have a bit of damage on the bottom, but on one side you c=
an=20
still make out: Cosme McMoon: Piano. In 1938, Jenkins made her only recordi=
ngs=20
at the Melotone Studio which were pressed and sold privately. Her accompani=
est,=20
McMoon, was a flamboyant and eccentric character well known in NYs undergro=
und=20
gay community. In 1944, Jenkins performed at Carnegie Hall and died a month=
=20
later in a music store. Her last words were "It must've been the chicken."=
=20
