Greetings from FixitLand!

Have encountered a copy of Paramount 20468 by the "Imperial Dance
Orchestra":

20468-A: I'm Looking At The World Through Rose Colored Glasses
Vocal Chorus: Irving Kaufman (6671-1; ctrl# 346 on label, 347 in wax)

20468-B: Oh If I Only Had You
Vocal Chorus: Irving Kaufman (6672-2; ctrl# 347 on label, 346 in wax)

Also issued on Puritan 11468.

Best I can find is a date of June 1926 (Sam Lanin matrices 6653/5 and
6682 are 9 June and 24 June respectively). No idea who the band is.
The control number mismatch is curious, and since those numbers seem
to dovetail with the GEX- electric Gennett series, I thought they
might be Gennett matrices, but the Abrams file for Puritan shows the
above matrices (which don't appear in the wax).

Looking through Rust-ADBD just made me bleary-eyed...Anyone got any
more details on this disc? The previous owner noted "Sounds like
Haring" but there's nothing about it in the Bob Haring chapter of ADBD.

Take care,

Joe
