Many years ago I collaborated with the owner of this unusual collection on the production of a UK Columbia Cylinder listing; subsequently published by The City of London Phonograph and Gramophone Society of which he was an active member.
It has been suggested that his record collection was estimated at thirty five thousand and included some real gems.
Not in the least surprising for he was indeed a fervent collector and enthusiastic researcher.

Still, with an accumulation of 30,000 78s, I would expect that the sharp 78 people in England would have checked out some worthwhile records. Perhaps someone in England who is on this list will learn more and inform us./steve
