So I wil try the links you have so kindly posted but do you know of anyone who may have the recordings.

Shall I email you the song list ?

Thanks very much,

Hi, Euan,
Are you looking for information about possible venues, artist and titles
to include, or just collectors with 78's?
I guess many of us, especially John Wright, have loads of material.
If you still need suggestions for your compilation I'd recommend

http://www.mgthomas.co.uk/Dancebands/IndexPages/LondonDancePlaces.htm

which, probably, is the best listing of dance music venues in London
from the Golden Years of Dance Music,
and this site

http://www.mgthomas.co.uk/Soundfiles/British%20Dance/British-Dance-Soundfiles.htm

where you can listen to hundreds of recordings.
Kristjan
