It always surprised me that Helen Shapiro, although Jewish, ended up 
singing Gospel. I then read that she became a Messianic Jew and now 
concentrates almost solely on her non-secular career.

Oh -- and BTW -- 78 content here -- she has had releases on 78 in 
Brazil and South Africa (at least) on Odeon and (UK) Columbia.
