[78-L] Amy Winehouse

I'll admit I don't follow current pop music,  but given what I'd heard of 
her singing,  I was kind of baffled at the attention she was receiving.  Was 
some of it/most of it due to her very public disintegration,  splashed all 
over the inescapable 24/7 media we have now?
