Today's "Cul de sac" comic strip shows the little boy talking to his 
sister: "You know the guys who drive around in a truck and 'collect' the 
trash?  They're not collecting trash!  They burn it or mash it up and 
bury it!  What kind of a trash collection is that?  When *I* collect 
trash I put it in a nice pile in the yard or distribute it throughout 
the neighborhood in everyone's mail slot."
