I've been given a couple boxes of Mom/Dad's Favorite Records, and see a pattern. Besides Fred Waring, Hopalong Cassidy (actually pretty nice, with the photo storybook) , How To Play Baseball, etc - the same Tchaikowsky and Grieg on Columbia I've seen over and over again, before. Were those sets among the first $1 classics Columbia sold?
