As a seller, I'm not a fan of Buy It Now. As a seller, you get the most money when two or bidders start a bidding war against each other, which escalates as the auction counts down to zero. With Buy It Now, only one bidder gets a shot at the record and there is no chance for emotional last-second bidding; and you could end up underselling it. Also - you pay a premium for listing a "Buy it now" price. I'd just as soon not give eBay anything more than what they're getting already, which is a substantial 9% fee, not counting what they take in PayPal payments, extra photo charges, etc. etc. If you have a record that you don't want to undersell, your best choice is to put a reserve bid on it. Buyers don't like this, but it's the only way you can protect from having an expensive go for your minimum bid if only one person bids on it.
