No, you'd probably want to install a window unit or 2 in the garage 
itself. Problem is how to distribute the cool air evenly without a vent 
in the ceiling. And put lotsa insulation above, altho a salesman I spoke 
with once informed me that for some reason that I don't recall it is not 
good to put insulation over the garage. This is an attached garage he 
was talking about.

I think your records are happier being in the house.
